This is similar to what I do with some of my files in ~/bin/ I see multiple comments here saying that this is unfortunate because people were using symlinks in order to automatically have backups of program configurations etc.īut the solution is simple, just switch around which is the real file and which is the symlink.Īnd so on, remove the old symlinks and place the real files in ~/Dropbox/ and then symlink the other locations there.
